Meet the Founder
When I founded Memphis Women Rock in 2017, I wasn't trying to build another networking group—I was searching for the community I couldn't find.
At the time, it was difficult to find spaces where diverse women could genuinely connect, build meaningful relationships, and feel like they truly belonged. Too often, networking felt transactional or exclusive. I believed women deserved something different: a welcoming community where authentic connections, collaboration, and support came first.
With that vision, I hosted our very first event, Cocktails & Conversations.
I hoped maybe 5-10 would show up.
Instead, more than 2,000 women expressed interest, confirming what I already believed women were craving a space where they could show up as themselves, build friendships, grow professionally, and celebrate one another without competition.
Since then, Memphis Women Rock has become more than an event series. It has grown into a thriving community where women have launched businesses, expanded their networks, discovered mentors, formed lifelong friendships, and gained the confidence to pursue goals they once thought were out of reach.
My passion for this work isn't just professional—it's deeply personal.
Like many of the women in our community, I've experienced seasons that tested my resilience. I've navigated depression, overcome personal setbacks, rebuilt my life after the end of my marriage, and embraced the journey of raising my three daughters as a single mother. Those experiences strengthened my belief that no woman should have to face life's challenges alone.
I live by a simple philosophy:
Link arms with the woman beside you. Hold your hand back for the woman who needs help. Reach forward for the woman who has gone before you.
That spirit of community has always been the heartbeat of Memphis Women Rock.
In 2020, I realized women across the country deserved the same opportunity to create these life-changing communities in their own cities. That's when All Women Rock was born a national movement designed to empower women leaders to build thriving local communities that foster connection, leadership, collaboration, and impact.
Today, my vision is bigger than one city.
It's to see women in communities across the nation creating spaces where every woman feels welcomed, supported, inspired, and empowered to thrive. Through our Founding City Director program, we're building a network of local leaders who believe that when women come together, entire communities are transformed.
Because when one woman rises, she makes it possible for another woman to rise with her.
